Ladies Shield team - Westmorland and North West Lancashire Nett Trophy - Tuesday 20th May
The team of Trudy Hubard (team captain), with Lynn Penswick, Carroll Ashton, Sue Crayston, Wendy Mashiter, Sue Chapman and Sarah Hunter beat 13 other clubs with an aggregate of 377 (the best 5 nett scores to count). Lynn Penswick scored the best nett score with 73. last year the same team won the Gross trophy. Bentham Golf Club hosted this year’s competition. Well done ladies.

Men’s Armitage Trophy winners - Sunday 27th July
The team hotly contested the Armitage Trophy which this year was hosted at Lansil Golf Club. Silverdale beat Bentham and lansil by a massive 22 shots, so this year a convincing win. The photo shows the Club Captain David Pike with Jeff Standeven (team captain) and the team with the coveted trophy outside Lansil Golf Club. Well done.
