The day was mild, dry and blustery and the golf was enjoyed by all.
Winners: Division 1 - Nicky Wilson-Cooke with 37 stableford points
Division 2 - Angela McLachlan with 35 stableford points
Division 3 - Dorothy Newby with 37 stableford points
Overall winner of the Lady Captain’s Day Golden Jubilee Plate on a card play off with Dorothy Newby was Nicky Wilson-Cooke
The Men’s Prize over 11 holes was Alyn Cousins with 25 stableford points.
After the buffet and prize presentation we danced the night away to songs and music by guitarist Brian Gibb.

The Armitage Trophy - Sunday 26th July
The team which represents the club in the Lunesdale league hotly contested the coveted Armitage Trophy hosted this year at Lansil Golf Club. This trophy was originally set up for the 9 hole courses in the locality all of which except lansil are now 18 holes. The club is delighted to announce that the team won the trophy by a massive 22 shots.
Lady Captain’sTrophy - Sunday 26th July and a new course record
Sarah Hunter played like a dream and scored a nett 63 to beat the original course record and bring her own handicap down to 5. She of course won the trophy.
