Five men achieved a hole-in-one namely John Beattie, Keith Livingstone, David Wilson-Cook, Malcolm Woods and Stuart Wharton. Stuart’s has to be regarded as the best - it was achieved on the 15th par 4 Orchard hole.

Club Championship - Max Shaw with a gross 85 (net 59).

David Clark Trophy - Samantha Edwards

Winners aged under 11 - there were 5 medals played over 11 holes and Alex Smith won 3 of these so he is the ‘Young Junior Champion’.

Two juniors achieved a hole-in-one, Jonty Moekell and Max Shaw. They have received the club’s hole-in-one tie.

Congratulations to the team of Samantha Edwards, Josh Smith and Matthew Smith for their efforts in reaching the national finals of the British Heart Foundation National Junior Championship Competition held at The Belfry. Out of an initial 5340 entrants only 63 reached the finals and our team of 3 from Silverdale were among these. So well done we are proud of you.
