This is a group of members who actively fund raise and operate The 100 Club. The Friends of SGC who under the motivation of our late Captain Mike Speak raised the funds through a variety of social events over 5 years to refurbish the Clubhouse, Ladies Locker room and Bar. We were just so sad that Mike’s death meant that he never saw the fruits of his innovative ideas. The Centenary Garden was dedicated to him.
The Friends of Silverdale Golf are actvely fund raising for the Club’s next project - the greenkeepers accommodation. All adult and social members can join The 100 Club and all can come to The Friends of SGC meetings.
