These are a valuable group of members who join to enjoy the clubhouse and entertainment. To maintain links with the club many veteran members continue as a social member once their playing days are over.
Some social members join as a “Buddy” with their children so that they can join their child as a non-player on the course and help their child to improve their golf.
Other social members join to play in the flourishing bridge section in the Autumn to Spring months. We play on Thursday afternoons from 13.30, we finish for the winter session on Thursday 22nd March to restart on Thursday 18th September 2008 for the autumn session.
All social members, can by joining The 100 Club become a member of the Friends of Silverdale Golf Club and enter the quarterly draw for a share in the profits of the 100 Club.
