These are a valuable group of members who join to enjoy the clubhouse and entertainment. To maintain links with the club many veteran members continue as a social member once their playing days are over.
It costs just £20 per annum to become a social member.
Become a buddy
Some social members join as a “Buddy” with their children so that they can join their child as a non-player on the course and help their child to improve their golf.
Bridge at Silverdale Golf Club
Other social members join to play in the flourishing bridge section in the Autumn to Spring months. We currently have 40 playing members and we welcome male players. We play on Thursday afternoons from 13.30, we finish for the spring session on Thursday 29 April to restart on Thursday 16th September 2010 for the autumn session. We welcome both men and women to become social members and join our very friendly bridge section. A full calendar of bridge events is available before the autumn and spring sessions.
The 100 Club
All social members, can by joining The 100 Club become a member of the Friends of Silverdale Golf Club and enter the quarterly draw for a share in the profits of the 100 Club. For further details look under Friends of Silverdale Golf Club.
