Message From The Professional
I would like to thank all of those who have supported me over the past year since taking over the shop from my dad, Ceri. It has been a successful year I believe, but I want to keep on improving. I appreciate that our economy is going through some tough times but I am determined to do the best I can to make buying golf equipment as easy and affordable as possible. With this in mind I will be running a price matching policy, if you see anything on the internet at a price cheaper than ours, I WILL MATCH IT! If you see something on the internet that isn’t stocked in our shop, I will do my upmost to get it for you. All I ask is that you give us a chance of getting the item first before buying it straight away.
I am also doing my best to extend the level of service that can be offered here at Silverdale Golf Club Professional Shop. I have recently invested in a Loft & Lie alteratioin machine and equipment to measure and custom fit a golfer to their clubs. For all the packages available please ring 01524 701300.
I will be doing a lot of work this year promoting the golf clubs junior section and will be continueing to develop the group lessons at the weekends, so if you know anyone that would be interested in coming along please let me know.

So What’s New For 2012???
This season we will be stocking some great equipment and improving the variety of service we have previously offerd. Please read more to find out.
Brand’s that we will be stocking this year are as follows:
Titleist - The 910 D2 driver was one of the worlds biggest selling clubs in 2011, incorporating the surefit hosel technology, these clubs can be altered to suit your golf swing. Each driver comes with a free 1 hour fitting lesson to ensure the club is set up perfect for you! The NEW SM4 Vokey Wedges are also available in store with various loft and bounce angles to suit your game. The new AP2 irons are also available, offering fantastic feel from the forged head and excellent playability and forgiveness.
Taylor Made - The latest Taylor Made equipment will be available in 2012 from SGC Professional Shop. The brand new RBZ Driver which has replaced last years very popular Burner driver will be available at great prices! Taylor Made also offer a great selection of ladies drivers, fairway woods and irons which will all be available throughout the season.
Benross - If you are looking at high quality equipment without the premium price tag then the 2012 Benross range is for you. The Quad Speed Drivers, Quad Fairways, Quad Irons, Zip It Wegdes & Pure Red Putters are all available at great prices and offer very high quality for their value.
Adidas - All the latest Adidas Gent’s & Ladies apparel will also be available throughout 2012 offering great ranges of clothing. The Adidas shoes proved to be very popular last season, offering the best comfort available from a golf shoe. Check out the new Tour 360 ATV Shoes that are in stock!
Lyle & Scott - Lyle and Scott has been an excellent quality brand for years and years, the 2012 brand new Club range will be arriving in March. Lyle and Scott is a brand that can be worn on and off the golf course as it has become more established as a fashion brand! Why not pop in and check it all out! There will be plenty of Gent’s & Ladies clothing to look through.
Footjoy - Excellent quality waterproofs with a 2 year waterproof guarantee are all available in store at great prices. Special discount offered if you are buying a set of waterproofs. All the latest Footjoy shoes are also in store, excellent quality with a contemporary look.
Powakaddy - The latest Powakaddy electric and pull trollies offer the best quality than any other brand. And with a new pricing structure for all of their models we are sure to find a trolley thats right for you. Please note: If your trolley is in fairly good condition we might consider a part exchange against a new trolley, please enquire for details.

What Else Do We Offer???
Custom Fitting: Loft & Lie checks and alterations are now available from Silverdale Golf Club Pro Shop, there are plenty of equipment check offers and packages available. Club Repairs - Re-Shafting:Whether the shaft is worn or snapped (we won’t question why), steel or graphite we can get the clubs repaired and re-shafted in no time at a minimul cost!
Club Repairs - Re-Gripping: If your grips are fairly worn at the bottom, have a shiny appearance or are just to thin, then its time to change your grips! Having new grips on makes a big difference to how well you can perform, sounds daft but its true. To get a good hold on a worn grip you must grip the club harder, forcing more tension in the wrist and forearm muscles, restricting any movement and could also force the muscles to create the wrong movement…so it’s worth checking them every now and then!
Club Repairs - Lengthening and Shortening: Lengthening and Shortening services are available too, because not every golfer is built at the same height, so if you are unsure whether your irons are long enough for you, or maybe they are too long, just have a word with us and we will check that they are right for you!
