The bar and catering facilities are open 7 days per week in the summer and from Tuesday to Sunday in the winter months. Our new caterers Brett and Helena Booker joined us in December 2008. The photo shows Helena, Brett and their son Jack.
Brett has worked in the catering and hospitality industry since leaving school and training at Farnborough College of Technology. He has had many posts in catering including owning his own tapas bar in Corfu which is where he met Helena. His claim to fame is serving a cocktail to the Queen Mother at one of her garden parties. Brett is already serving food from his new menu ‘The 19th Hole’. He will provide bespoke menus for visiting parties and societies as well as from the bar menu.
The bar is open Tuesdays to Sundays throughout the year with a limited menu on Tuesdays in the winter. There is a vending machine to provide hot drinks at all other times.
