Silverdale Win The Armitage Trophy


A team of ten Silverdale Golf Club members competed against two other teams from Lansil & Bentham Golf Clubs for the ArmitageTrophy. This is a long standing competition the format is similar to the Ryder Cup although held over one day only. This year Bentham Golf Club hosted the event, an enjoyable days golf was had by all. Well done !

The annual competition for the Armitage Trophy this year was hosted by Bentham Golf Club.

Teams of ten members from Bentham, Lansil & Silverdale Golf Clubs played in a Ryder Cup type contest held over just one day.

A very enjoyable but competitive days golf was had by all. Even more so by the team from Silverdale who for the second year in a row brought home the trophy.

Well done !
