“Our party had a very warm welcome on arrival, followed by an excellent bacon butty and hot drinks.
Unfortunately I don't remember the gentleman's name who welcomed us, but he also escorted us to the first tee and gave excellent directions and local knowledge on how to play the course, many thanks.
Silverdale also gave us a sleeve of balls as a nearest the pin prize, a nice touch !
The course is a gem, not long but has some fantastic holes and was in great condition, a credit to the green keepers. My tip would be to leave the driver in the bag, straight hitting and positional play is needed to score well.The members we met on the course and in the clubhouse were all very friendly and helpful.
The lads who ordered food after our round were all impressed by the quality and quantity of their meals.
We will definitely return!"
