Winter Series Event #5
Saturday 24th Feb 2018
A full field of players enjoyed some long awaited sunshine and some dry weather for a change plus as a result of some hard work by our greens staff all but one of the holes (18th) where played using the summer greens.
Congratulations to the pairing of P Bowman a newish member who has returned to Silverdale after a few years at other local clubs and his playing partner M Hosty who I believe is from Morecambe golf Club
sorry if I'm wrong.
They scored 45 points and won after a card play off. Also with 45 points and 2nd place were M Johnson & S Hoare.
Many thanks to all those who attended and that they didn't find the Club House refurbishment an inconvenience. Hope to see you all again on March 10th. This is our final event in the winter series in fact a re-run of event 2 which was cancelled due to heavy rain, book your tee time now to ensure you do not miss out on your desired tee time.
