Silverdale Ladies in Ping Final

Two Silverdale Ladies, Sandy Armistead and Margaret Roberts (Lady Vice Captain) recently played in the grand final of the Ping Women's 4-Ball-Better-Ball Competition at Gainsborough Golf Club. Although they didn't get into the prizes on the day, we are still very proud of Sandy and Margaret as we think this is the fist time anyone from Silverdale Golf Club has reached the final. Over 16,000 lady golfers from approximately 850 clubs entered the competition with only the top 52 pairs going through, so it is quite an achievement to qualify for the grand final.

We know that every finalist received a "goodie bag" from Ping, but what was in the bag? Well, you are going to have to ask Sandy and Margaret the next time you meet them on the course!
