The 1906 Centenary Club Challenge Trophy Monday 1st May at Silverdale. Click on the first image.
This annual event celebrates the Centenary of Silverdale, Walmesley, Leigh and Deane.
The event is designed to promote friendship and camaraderie between the four clubs with
members who occupy various roles within each club. So for example all the Captains and Presidents play together.
After the golf we were treated to a fabulous two course carvery by James and his team.
Many thanks also to the back room team of Stuart Foulds, Robin Baines as Car Park attendants and Mike Roberts for carefully scrutinising the Scorecards.
A special thanks must also go to Kath Foulds who was the principle organiser of this event communicating with the visiting clubs.
And now to the results. After two years of the Wooden Spoon (or Welsh Love Spoon) this year Silverdale were victorious. The Team Stableford scores are made up of the 15 best scores from 18. It was a Shotgun start.
