The Ladies 3 Counties Bronze League Results

The Ladies 3 Counties Bronze League includes local clubs in our area from Lancashire, Cumbria and Yorkshire. Where you need a handicap of 21+ to play in this League.

This year the participating clubs were split into 2 groups playing each other home and away. Jean Baines was the team Captain this year, organising the team. Who didn't lose a match in their group and on the 15th August we then went on to play a final at Kirkby Lonsdale losing to Kendal 3 matches to 2.

Every year all teams come together and play the inter club Competition. A Stableford with 3 team members to count. This year this was held at Silverdale. Clubs taking part were Morecambe, Kirkby Lonsdale, Settle, Ulverston and us. Silverdale ladies had a fabulous win with 104. The nearest team had 83 points. Jean was also the winner overall with 36 Stableford points with most of our team members in the top 5.

The achievement this year has been a great team effort. With lots of our Ladies playing in different matches. It isn't just down to 1 team of 5 players. Jean quite rightly saying "I am are so proud of our Ladies team and the success they have achieved."
